The second workshop during half term was based around printing. The young artists experimented with a selection of stamps (bought and home-made), rollers with different textures, card shapes & leaves to print with. It was good to see the children be totally free to create some lovely artwork using their imagination.
The best bit though was the mono-printing. Children just love rolling out sticky ink, hearing it slurp and crackle. Using cue-tips as tools to remove ink from the printing plate the young artists created some very contemporary prints. Watching their faces light up as they peeled the paper from the plate to reveal their print was priceless.
