Yesterday the young artists made these very cute bats. Quite simply, a sheet of newspaper was rolled into a ball then wrapped in black tissue paper and secured with some tape.
The wings and ears were cut from black card and glued on the ball (make sure the wings and ears have fold-back tabs for the glue to be placed on) . The eyes and fangs were cut from white paper and glued in position. Finally a strand of wool was taped behind the ears for hanging up. BAT-TASTIC!
